Mask a thought
Maybe a kind smile
To avoid conflict

Trampling around
Pushing them away
Once a friend

See my weaknesses
Know my cause
Share my thoughts
Except my flaws
I am inadequate
Not what you need
Unsure and moody
Off misery, I feed
A chameleon
Constantly changing
Vivid in color
Thoughts rearranging
From one extreme
Then to another &
Most LikelyI would have a better chanceMost Likely
Of catching a moon beam in my palm
Perhaps even befriend a band of elves,
Or telling a chaotic ocean to be still, be calm
It would be more conceivable that I
Could walk all the way to the moon
There might even be a better possibility
Of eating soup with a fork instead of a spoon
It would be more believable
That I became Queen in a foreign land
And that my servants cater
To my every wish, my every command
Maybe I could invent
A means to travel far, far back in time
To right all the wrongs of my lif

There is sentiment to hold
In my life
There is a story to be told
In my defeat
There is a skillful victory
In my beginning
There is an end, finality
In my thoughts
There is a world of all its own
In my strength
There is weakness shown
In my laughter
There my true feelings hide
In my mind
Is where I reside
